Overview
A PC-directed semi-automatic placement system for prototypes and small production series. The operator is guided through a job step by step: pick-up and placement positions for the next component are shown on screen, so reading an assembly plan is not required and misplacements are largely eliminated.
Integrated measurement systems check each position targeted with the placement head, and the current head position is shown on screen throughout. Programs can be created by Teach-In or transferred from CAD data.
This is the professional variant, identified on the machine plate as Semi Automatic professional, SM 902.210.01, serial number 8634, model year 2023, made in Germany. The unit is supplied with its control PC, nozzles and accessories.
This system was purchased new for an application outside electronic device manufacturing. It was unpacked, set up, and function tested, after which we determined that it was not suited to our intended use. It has never been placed in production.
